A 63-year-old Minsterworth motorist who failed to provide a breath specimen to police has been banned from driving for 16 months.
Paul Gwilliam of Main Road, Minsterworth, pleaded guilty at Cheltenham Magistrates ‘Court to failing to provide a breath sample when required to do so on July 1 this year in Gloucester.
He was fined £200 and ordered to pay £500 prosecution costs and an £85 surcharge.
The magistrates told him that his ban will be reduced by 16 weeks if he completes a government-approved driving course at his own expense by October 23.
