AS leader of the Leave EU campaign in the Forest of Dean, I have been contacted by a number of concerned constituents about alleged attacks on non-UK EU nationals living in the UK.

Personally, I am unaware of any such incidents in this area. However, I deplore any such conduct and would urge anyone concerned to stop this immediately.

I know that the EU referendum has created a lot of division within society, but now is the time to put this behind us and move  forward together.
