A woman was hit in the stomach by a car wing mirror as she stood in Cinderford.

The driver of a blue Renault Clio failed to stop after his car struck the woman as she stood on the pavement in Market Street at around 8pm on Friday.

The woman was uninjured but left shaken by the collision.

Police are urging the motorist, or any other witnesses, to come forward.
