THE former Stowfield Works in Lydbrook could be transformed into a multi-million pound complex of housing, leisure facilities and a care home, if local residents agree to the ambitious scheme.

The scheme would redevelop most of the vacant 15-hectare site – building houses, new leisure and recreational facilities, offices and a care home, and completely transforming the village of Lydbrook in the process
