REGULAR bus users in the Forest of Dean are bracing themselves for wide-ranging changes to timetables and the possibility of reduced or cancelled services.

The main service provider Stagecoach has warned that Forest of Dean bus services do not attract local government subsidy and, therefore, have to be commercially viable.

Last month, Stagecoach’s revealed that its current Forest services are facing a £100,000 loss of revenue in the coming year.
