PATERSON Health Group is defying the recession after winning a contract to fit out a new dental suite at Camp Bastion - Britain's military base in Afghanistan.

The firm has also won a prestigious contract, worth more than £500,000, to install dental facilities at the children's orthodontics department at Liverpool Hospital.

Managing director Stuart Paterson is currently in Afghanistan overseeing the installation of the suite, which includes a clinic, two surgeries and a decontamination room.
