THE local league football has finished for another season and the champions have been named.
Coleford should be on the list.
Before you look at the table for the last season and see they did not win one game – that is precisely the reason, in my opinion, why they should be entitled to some type of award. Dedication to football could be one.
They are true footballers playing for the love of the game and not like some, glory/medal hunting.
It takes a lot of dedication and courage to play each week with little hope of winning and by their goals against column, losing by a considerable margin.
I have nothing more than admiration for them and hopefully next season will see a change in their fortunes.
