FOUR overnight break-ins in the Newent area has prompted a warning and appeal from Gloucestershire Police.
Homes in Glebe Road and Court Road in Newent, Tibberton Road in Tibberton and Popes Meade in Highnam were targeted by a burglar or burglars between yesterday evening (February 8) and 10am today (February 9).
In all cases windows at the back of the properties were smashed.
Jewellery was taken in two of the cases.
Police are investigating if all the cases are linked and urging residents to be vigilant and review their home security in light of the incidents.
Anyone with information should call 101 and quote incident 478 for the Glebe Road, Newent burglary, 461 of February 8 for the Tibberton burglary, 403 of February 8 for the Highnam burglary and 206 of February 9 for the Court Road, Newent burglary.
