Police are appealing for information following a robbery at a shop in Coleford on Monday, September 7.

The incident happened at a convenience store in Pyart Court at about 4.15pm when a man entered the store with a knife, demanded money from a female member of staff and then ran off. It is unclear at this stage if anything was taken.

The man is described as black, 6ft tall and wearing a black hoodie with the zip up, black baggy jogging bottoms and trainers.

Inquiries are continuing but anyone who witnessed the incident or recognises the description of the offender should call 101 and quote incident 297 of September 7.
