A 54-year-old man arrested in relation to the seizure of 20 cannabis plants in Lydney has been bailed.

Local officers carried out a warrant at the property on Bream Road at 8.30am and found the plants in several rooms.

They are now being removed from the house.

The occupant is a registered firearms holder and while the investigation is ongoing police will also be confiscating firearms from the house.

The man who was arrested has been bailed to return to police on June 7 pending further inquiries.
