FOREST of Dean police dealt with alleged perpetrators of driving offences, during antisocial behaviour patrols.

Initially, officers were in the Cinderford area when they were alerted to a vehicle being driven in a dangerous manner.

Police caught up to the vehicle and stopped it. Officers performed checks, which they say showed the driver only had a provisional licence, and was given a Section 59 for his manner of driving.

Following this, officers on foot patrol stopped a vehicle which they say smelt of cannabis. Checks found there was cannabis in the vehicle, leading to the driver being arrested on suspicion of possession of an illegal drug, and driving whilst under the influence.
