GLOUCESTERSHIRE Police are appealing for witnesses after a car collided with a motorcyclist and failed to stop.

It happened on Ross Road near Picklenash School in Newent on Saturday (December 3) at around 9.30pm.

A silver Jaguar attempted to overtake the motorcyclist, but clipped his right side, causing him to come off his bike.

He sustained injuries to his legs and face which weren’t serious.

The driver or anyone else with information is urged to come forward by calling 101 quoting incident 470 of December 3.
