BUILDER Keith Bell is hoping to develop around 90 homes on Cinderford Football Club's Causeway Ground site if the club moves to a new £2.2 million stadium as planned.

The Forest developer has already drawn up early plans for the site for when the club moves.

A new access would be included within any scheme.

Forest of Dean District Council has earmarked the football club for 40 new homes in its housing allocation document, recently approved by cabinet.

"We hope to have more than 80 houses on there if the club relocates," said Mr Bell.

"Nothing has gone into planning yet but we want an assortment of smaller houses that people can afford and a new access onto the Causeway Road.
