TWELVE-YEAR-OLD Coleford rower Megan Jephcote (pictured) smashed her PB by seven seconds to take the gold medal at the Finland National Indoor Championships in Helsinki on Saturday.
Megan was representing Monmouth School.
In the last three weeks the youngster has travelled more than 3,000 miles to pick up two gold medals and a bronze.
Megan will now reduce the number of indoor competitions she takes part in to focus on outdoor rowing.
Now a member of Gloucester Rowing Club, Megan will compete in Japan later in the year.
