Save Our Forest

Hands Off Our Forest

competition image

The Forester, in association with The Forest of Dean and Wye Valley Review, is launching a petition to send a message to Government ministers wanting to sell our woodlands to private concerns: Hands Off Our Forest.

The Government has now confirmed it plans to sell half of all Forestry land by 2020. To do this, it needs to pass a law to reform the Forestry Commission. The law would also remove protection for the Statutory Forest of Dean. To help please use our signature form below.

My family are Foresters. My heritage is the Forest of Dean. It is a wonderful, wonderous place. We must ensure it stays that way.

I was born and grew up in Lydbrook. I love the Forest and am very proud to be a ’Forester’. Good luck to everyone involved.
