DRYBROOK toppled league leaders Plymouth in a grudge match at the Mannings as captain Ellie Underwood once again led from the front.
Underwood scored four tries after Emma Gibson opened the scoring for the hosts to the right hand side of the sticks after just two minutes.
It didn’t take much longer for the hosts to extend the lead as Underwood grabbed her first after four minutes when she ran in from 40 metres and added the conversion.
On the 12th minute Underwood powered in from half way but eight minutes later the Squirrels suffered a blow when outstanding flanker Jess Hunt made way to injury, replaced by former captain Shelley Bourne.
Drybrook stepped off the gas a little with no further scores until 30 minutes in when Plymouth forced through the defence to score out wide and close the gap to 17-5.
The final blow of the half came from Plymouth on the 40th minute as they scored before the break to make the half time score 17-10.
?The second half kicked of pretty much the same as the first with Drybrook applying immense pressure, however Plymouth defended well to keep the home side out.
But Underwood grabbed her third try on the 52nd minute and added the extras before scoring once more.
Another two tries from Plymouth concluded a nail-biting 80 minutes that saw Underwood, Dorrie Morley and Bethany Lawrence hailed as players of the match.
